Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Gigatidy app and the gigatidy.app website, provided by BlackPixel AI Inc ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Gigatidy, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What Gigatidy does
Gigatidy scans your Mac for files that take up space, explains what they are and helps you remove the ones you choose. The AI assistant answers questions about your disk. Answers are generated automatically and may sometimes be incomplete or wrong.
2. You stay in control
Gigatidy shows what each cleanup does before you confirm it, and deletes files only after you confirm. You are responsible for the actions you approve. We strongly recommend keeping a current backup of your Mac, for example with Time Machine.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Gigatidy on the number of devices included in your plan. You may not resell, rent, copy for distribution, reverse engineer or modify the app, except where the law allows it.
4. Plans, payments and renewal
- The disk diagnosis is free. Cleanup features require a paid license, available as a yearly or monthly subscription. Gigatidy is sold through the Mac App Store; current prices are shown there at the time of purchase.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel them in your Apple ID subscription settings. Your renewal price stays the same as the price you signed up with.
- You can cancel at any time. After cancellation, the paid features stay available until the end of the current period.
- Payments are processed by Apple, and Apple’s Media Services Terms also apply to your purchase.
5. Refunds
Purchases are made through the Mac App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policy. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your local consumer laws may give you additional rights.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Gigatidy to break the law, to access computers you are not allowed to access, or to interfere with our services.
7. Updates and changes
We may update the app to fix bugs, improve features or keep it compatible with macOS. New versions may contain bugs, and features may change or be removed.
8. Disclaimer
Gigatidy is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the app will be error-free or will meet every need, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, BlackPixel AI Inc is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Gigatidy in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Termination
You can stop using Gigatidy at any time. We may suspend a license that is used in violation of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or by email.
